Santa has become Maxwell’s Demon! He’s violating the Second Law of Thermodynamics! If you’re not familiar with the phrase, look up “Maxwell’s Demon” on Wikipedia. James Clerk Maxwell posed this thought experiment around 1867, and it’s a goodie.
