Having had a granddaughter who danced in the Nutcracker for 8 years , 6 to 13, I’ve heard enough.

They should wait for Lab lake!

I’m a confessed troglodyte when it come to watching a ballet. Ah, but the music; that’s something else. Tchaikovsky’s ballet compositions (listed below) are so beautiful, they’re almost ethereal. My favorite of The Nutcracker is the Pas de Deux (Dance for Two). I’ve heard it countless times, but still, it reduces me to tears. I can see why the wolves are so entranced. (The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty).

Hello Raymond, we have missed you. You are a sweet dog.

When I was 16, my mother made me watch a ballet performance so I’d be ‘cultured’. What I was, was bored out of my mind. Over the past umptyscrunch years, I’ve tried watching performances over and over and I still don’t enjoy it. I’ve watched movies and documentaries about dancers and while I admire their dedication to their art, it’s just not for me.Opera is even worse for me.

It’s nice seeing more of Raymond. Louie likes it, too. He needs a canine buddy.
