Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your

I was 9 when this aired. I used to watch the Charlie Brown Christmas episode too, which aired for the first time in 1965. I still think of the Grinch special as the “new” Christmas cartoon special. LOL
Taylor Momsen played Cindy Lou Who in the live version of The Grinch. She now has her own rock band, The Pretty Reckless. She looks nothing like the sweet little girl from the movie.

How old would the Grinch himself be at this time according to that logic?

Glad to see you’re dealing with the real Grinch. Good grief, I was 11 when that first aired!!!

I got that book for Christmas when I was 9. I still have it. I memorized it and would draw the pictures in the book. I wasn’t too bad. :)

I don’t think people got residuals back then

Kill joy. Run with the idea, Cindy Lou Who is 58!!! YIKES!!!

The book was first published in 1957 – which would make her even older
[The again, many literary characters never really grow old.]

Yeah, except I don’t think they had royalties in perpetuity back then.

So the one who played Cindy Lou Who is the one who gets paid. Who knew?
