Verne had been hoping (dreaming) of a white Christmas. This is not quite the way he wanted he it – but he got it. (And it’s early. And it could last a long time. Isn’t that nice?)
Well Verne If the weather types are correct a lot of us will be in for a White Christmas . But the Fire is so delightful : Let it Snow .. Let it Snow ;-)
Packing peanuts have been replaced by “packaged air” pillows. They are much easier to get rid of, just poke a hole and let all the air out, and they take almost no space in the trash. Wadded paper has also made a comeback. Old newspapers used to be common, but they are getting too scarce. Now it’s new, single use paper. It comes in convenient rolls, and is perforated for convenience.

They should have ordered the ones made of starch. Those would disappear during the first good rainfall.

Haven’t seen a packing peanut in a package in years, so the manufacturer has to do something to stay in business.
