Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I can’t see chihuahuas in snow. Mine crawls under the blankets at 50 degrees F. They are not built for cold. Go outside, poop, then back in quick to warm up.
I don’t usually post here… but Plods has asked me to let his friends on this strip, and a few others, know that he’s OK, and he’ll be back as soon as he’s able.
He’s recovering from a lung transplant, so he’ll eventually be in better shape than before!
I apologise if you already read this on one of the other strips… I didn’t want to go to all seven the same night.
We have snow predicted for later today thru the night. My pups are already at the door waiting..then they run to the window… then back to the door….until it snows and they actually WANT to go out..
Awww! My Alaskan Malimute, Nikko, loved to play in the snow.. he would burrow in it with his nose. Boy I sure miss him! He was stolen from our backyard. ☹️☹️☹️☹️
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH that’s my Huskies and Border Collies. The Canaan dogs prefer the grass. From late spring through early fall I use a large Ice Machine and fill a small wading pool with ice for my pack to cool off. Yip yip yip yip yip
This is why I can’t have a husky. I am cold with the house at 73F. I think I accidentally rescued a dog that was part husky, as she would lie on top of the registers all summer when the a/c was on. She was one smart dog, easily trained, had her 15 years and will always miss her. We did have to make a few trips to the vet over the years for heat exhaustion or whatever it’s called. Stress would do it.
When I had Huskies, they just loved the winter, especially snowstorms …… there would be all these mounts around the fenced in area and suddenly heads would pop-up, when they heard me ……… :)
I’ve had a Queensland Heeler, a fluffy Welsh Corgi, and an Australian Shepherd that all had thick coats (and shed a lot!), and they all loved the snow, even going outside to lay in the snow and ice on the front porch. During the summer they all liked to lie on the tiles in the foyer.

Yep, had a samoyed that absolutely hated summer and adored winter. Couldn’t hardly get her to come in when it was cold outside.

S – N – O – W spells relief, if you are a husky.
