not even WALLY would touch Fruitcake, NOW I’VE SEEN EVERYTHING!!!

Give it to me…I love fruitcake.

I like fruitcake. It’s very good with a cup of coffee.

I don’t like fruitcake, but I do like Fruit and Nut eggs at Easter. My mom would give me one every year.

I was never crazy about fruitcake either.

My niece made some with canned blueberries, it was nutritionally acceptable and besides I will eat almost anything

My mom would make fruitcake when we were kids but we weren’t allowed to have any. All the adults loved her fruitcake though.

Merry Christmas to everyone.

Fruitcake, properly done, is a great snack or even breakfast. But, it was peasant food, so most people today consider themselves too good for it.

In case you wondered what would cause a dachshund to lose his appetite . . .

I’m both pleased and surprised to see several comments here from people who, as my wife and I do, like fruitcake. We were looking for some in our grocery store tonight and I commented to my wife that it probably qualifies as the most maligned dessert in history, at least in the comic strips.

(We didn’t find any, by the way. I’m guessing that while they do carry it at this time of year, they probably order it sparingly, figuring that its reputation will cause it not to be such a big seller.)

I like fruitcake BUT being a diabetic, I can’t and shouldn’t.

You’re not supposed to eat it, you’re supposed to pass it along. There’s only the one.
