Inexpensive presents? My best and fondest presents are ones that are more thoughtful than expensive.

Why not just exchange $20 bills? You could probably both afford that much.

Or, if you want to go all out, exchange $100 bills.

This is just silly.

Several years ago, I gave my brother a $100 Best Buy gift certificate. And he gave me a $100 Best Buy gift certificate. And we looked at each other and said “This is stupid” and haven’t exchanged gifts since. And it makes Christmas much more pleasant.

How far we have fallen.

Oprah & Stedman early on agreed on no gift to each other costing more than $20.00..probably $100.00 now because of inflation.

Should like to point out the the supposed dynamic here, conservative/generous vs. liberal/selfish, is entirely bass-ackward.
