For those interested – I would still be banned if I had not contacted GoComics. Apparently they forgot to schedule me to be reinstated… SO – if you are under suspension, contact them.

And I am no wiser! Without an explanation, I have no idea what I should NOT do in the future.

And if you are concerned about their policy of banning people, without notification or explanation, contact them and let them know how you feel about such policy.

    contact info: moderator@gocomics.com

One time there were 43,252,003,274,489,856,001 patterns.

One time there were 101 zeroes. If you don’t believe the fact about a googol, you can always Google it.

May the Lord be with you as He is with me.

Camels need very broad, soft feet in order to distribute their weight efficiently on sand.

A 1 followed by a googol zeroes is known as a googolplex.

Despite that huge number of patterns, a Rubix Cube still doesn’t represent every possible combination of colours on a cube. For example, it’s impossible to shuffle a cube around so that the center of two different sides have the same colour. I don’t know what the number of possible patterns would be if you could freely detach the stickers and move them around at will, but I suspect it would be much, much higher.

Wouldn’t mind having a googol of dollars… scratch that, a googol of pennies would do!

A googleplex is 10 to the power of a google.

And yet, I’ve never been able to line up all the squares correctly on a Rubik’s Cube.

Funny, the number of combinations is, coincidentally, the exact number of minutes it would take me to solve the cursed cube!

I’ve done all of those combinations on a Rubik’s cube except one: where each side is all the same color.

If you can see this, post it. Otherwise, Rip’s will get no more from me.

It’s nice to see that, unlike the plates in “Pearls Before Swine”, the ones in RBION have food on them!

I wonder, after Rubik scrambled his first cube did he think " Crud, now how do I get this back to normal."

A Google is a big number. A Google squared (to the second power), would have 200 zeros. Google-plex is a Google to the Google power. It is the name of the largest number given. Except for maybe a Google-plex one! Someone once said a Google-plex written with 4″×8″ numbers would take from here to the moon and half way back! Now that’s a lot of zeros! LOL :)

What size dinner plate? A relative said that modern dinner plates often don’t fit inside cupboards of houses built in the 19th century. As the average of the weight of Americans increased, serving sizes increased. To accommodate the preference for larger serving sizes, the sizes of dinner plats has increased.

The most interesting fact I know about the word “googol” is that a nine-year-old coined it, at the request of his mathematician uncle.

    And to say it exactly: 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 = 43 quintillion, 252 quadrillion, 3 trillion, 274 billion, 489 million, 856 thousand.

“Jurassic Park is frightening in the dark, all the dinosaurs are running wild.” At leas the clay stop-motion models didn’t melt under the stage lights for Alfred Yankovic’s music video for the same song from which he parodied Richard Harris’ “MacArthur’s Park.”
