‘Accept yourself for who you are’ too often appears to be used as an excuse to remain mediocre instead of exerting effort to improve something you can. I applaud Baldo for improving himself (his hair, in this case) where he sees an opportunity to do so.I know this is way too much analysis to make on a comic, but I just went with the inclination. :-)
