One time I had six cents altogether.

I worked in professional office downtown. During lunch time walks I had all the street folks coming up to me asking for spare change. I decided to dress in old clothes without a tie and wore a tattered hoodie. I made almost enough for lunch each day……

Supposed to give, not take. Dude is vague on the concept.

But the guy could at least recommend a better corner for cadging coins.

Maybe he wants a cup of coffee?

Definitely not a politician.
