My two DIL’s surprised their dear ol’ mother to a nice lunch recently so I’m thinking of sending them todays comic. Maybe they’ll laugh. Maybe I’ll die!

Spoiled a few Garbage Days though.

So if Peekaboo had any brothers or sisters, would they have the signs for spades and clubs on their forehead?

When I was a teenager, every Wednesday night (my dad’s payday) my mother & I would go grocery shopping, then out for dinner. We had a few favorite places, but our #1 was a little hole-in-the-wall pizza place. We’d sit, eat, and talk…usually a lot about nuthin’. I treasure those Wednesday nights in my heart. My mom died in 2018 and I still miss her horribly.

Thursdays were “lunch with Dad” day. For years it was on my calendar and I guarded that time as best I could. I am thankful for the time we had, and I miss him.

“Smelly Cat, oh, Smelly Cat …What are they feeding you?”

I wonder where Peekaboo’s mother lives.

You cats have the right idea!

Mom knows the best garbage cans…

I hear the recycling cans are the cleanest joints.

Since Rose and Jimbo obviously rescued Peek-A-Boo, they should rescue her mom too. Just sayin’. (Yes, I’m worrying about a cartoon stray cat.)

Is it not strange that the trash can is in the middle of nowhere?

(sigh) I miss my mom.
