The time we have with our furbabies goes by so quickly.

I remember needles in the carpet for months. Was happy when artificial became the thing.

When reality bites me, it’s usually in my hind end…

Wish real life were like the comics where our pets live on and on.

Common sense: What we develop when life hits us between the eyes with a 2×4 a few times.

And a companion line: Just because I’m old, bitter, and cynical doesn’t mean I’m wrong.

Is he asking for antiseptic because the cat bit him in anger or a drink because reality just bit him.

My cat loves it when we take the tree out or put it back in the box because he can play in the box for awhile.

Our cats love to drink the tree water.

I feel ya, Arlo. Two weeks after New Year’s I turn another year older. Makes that annual countdown bittersweet these days…
