I’m going to miss Kaz. Loved him ever since he and Gil met while Kaz was umpiring that softball game years ago. Hope he remains part of the strip in his new capacity.
Oh Kaz in all reality one last thing , don’t let the door hit you in the butt on the way out. Mop greased all the hinges in the school this morning . He’s multitasking trying to save his job. Budget cuts you know .
Hey Kaz, thanks for nuthin’, now get the FWEET outta here. Maybe with you gone I can start on my quest for another state title. Oh, and by the way, make sure that any juvenile sports standouts you discover get convinced to enroll/transfer to Milford High School.
Triumphant return of Jon Dowd? Matt Shaw? Old JV Coach Roy? Orville Redenbacher is pretty spry. Maybe he can teach the finer points of the set shot, running the weave and tugging on the opponent’s shorts underneath the basket.
“Milford Juvenile Sports Program”? Milford puts all its youth sports into a single program and has paid staff? Must be nice…our youth sports are all managed by different volunteer-run groups.
Look for Kaz to make occasional appearances as he alerts Gil to up-and-coming middle-school players.
Since Jami and Keri have stubbornly hung on their youth, Brent Raptor was Jami’s Milford Little League teammate 15 years ago or so. Will Kaz rediscover the husky shortstop in the yute program?
“It was a pleasure working with you, Coach Robert Kazinski”? Rather formal declaration isn’t it? It was a pleasure working with you Coach or Bob is the more likely response. That second language English thing shows up again.
Well I guess nobody is joining Boo in the Milford Memorial Hall of Fame. Will word of this illegal party spread on the grapevine until Gil finds out? Will there be more drinking parties leading to trouble? Will Gil play the cool coach and buy them a keg for the next one? Stay tuned. And speaking of tuning, you should be tuning into today’s Mopped Up Thorp.

A three day resignation notice? Are you a class act coach Robert Kazinsky, or are you snarking the department head who disappeared your job?

P-1: Even Tobi isn’t paying attention. He’s asking the only other kid at the Bon-Bon fire that didn’t drink about his head.
P-2: Oooh, goody, goody, Kaz is about to rat the team out as he leaves! What a great guy!
P-3: Kaz, snarks Gil and lets him know, who has the power, now! Gee, We’re all going to miss him.
Note: For the snarkers with ADS, the new Assistant Coach is the Brunette from a couple of days ago. Drink!

I’m just hoping that the “juvenile” sports include spit-ball and wedgie competitions.

By what definition is inquiring about the well-being of a teammate considered gossip?
