Thanks for the laugh Amanda. Feeling down today as we had to put a cat down yesterday. Although he was just a mangled old feral, it still hurts. Over the years we’ve TNRed dozens of cats. This one showed up missing an eye and a swollen face. It was so bad his nostrils were closed. He chortled and snorted and coughed. He was trap weary so it took awhile to get him. Three days ago he finally let me touch him. I know it’s the humane and right thing to do but it still seemed like a betrayal. I just wish he could of known love even if it was just for one day. I miss his presence.
