My skin is getting more dry as I get older, and often feels itchy. I now always keep a ruler nearby so that I can reach the itchy spots.

Reading this makes my back itch. I used to be able to reach any part of my back. Now I use a cat comb to scratch certain parts.

I really hate that when it happens in the middle of the night. Fortunately I can still reach the itch without needing a back scratcher.

Maybe he should get one – which one though? A compassionate sibling or back scratcher?

I feel if I’m ever unable to reach any part of my back to scratch it, I deserve to itch until I get limber enough again.

Backscratchers are cheaper and require less maintenance.

When we added a room to the house, a brick wall became an interior wall – perfect for scratching.

Spouse is no good at it ’cause…nails. So, I have two manually operated back scratchers plus, in a pinch, I can use a back brush. I wonder if anyone makes a motorized scratcher?

Clayton looked in Directory Assistance for ‘sibling who gives a darn’ but couldn’t find anything.

Older women get those frequently. I’ve even been woken up by one many times. One cure for the menopause itch is a nice long soak in a black tea bath. Soak 10-20 black tea bags in the bath water for 5 minutes or more. Remove, then enjoy a nice long soak. I add arnica and MSM Epsom to relieve pain. And don’t forget to rinse.
