I only came to the white side of the force recently when I discovered “Snow Pants”. How did I not buy some of these years ago. Wet blue jeans and soggy underwear were my norm for so long. …ugg
I once worked with a guy (he was the owner’s son, and let’s just say he was two tacos shy of a combination platter) who claimed that feeling hot and cold was all in your head. I laughed at him and said “Brian, do you mean to tell me that people who die of heat stroke during heat spells and people who freeze to death in cold snaps aren’t dead, they just think they are!?”
we lived in a village where many of the houses were more than 150 years old and purty nippy inside during the winter. one of our acquaintances would constantly tell his teenage son who constantly whined about the cold, “you just need to think positive…”

Katy: “Plus, I seem to have stepped into an open manhole. A little help here please before I disappear into quicksnow.”
Clayton: “oooo, this I gotta see” (pulls out smartphone camera..)

strange … Katy always goes poetic with the end of Summer. Wouldn’t have imagined her enjoying the snow!

With a mindset like that she won’t mind an icy water balloon or two next summer

The kid who doesn’t have to shovel the snow will always enjoy snow more than the kid who does.

He’d just better not hang around there too long, or his mindset’s not going to be the only thing that’s frozen solid.

His ‘mindset’ has shriveled up with so much shrinkage it is now as internal as hers.

They’re pretty deep in the snow.
