YEAH! What’s with that?!

Dead on once again Mr. Johnson.

Just what I need, another rerun. Kinda like a Ground Hog day movie I saw a few times.

I don’t see why they move the Rose Parade to Monday. Its part of the tradition with breakfast on New Years Day! And some people have to go to work and miss the Bowls.

It`s my Birthday !

Being retired means every day is a holiday. But that’s not a reason to have a party every day.

Some people “don’t really do anything” — our Canoe Club has a paddle on New Year’s day, as long as the rivers are not frozen. Yesterday’s paddle was very nice as temps here in NJ were in the fifties. Didn’t even need to break out the dry suits — wet suits were good enough.

If the 1st falls on Sunday, you get a Friday the 13th.

New Years Day was always my favorite holiday. All that was required of me was to not go to work. No cooking, no shopping, no wondering which town would have the best fireworks…now I’m retired and every days is NYD.

When any month starts on a Sunday that means you also get a Friday the 13th for that month. In the case of this year we also get one in October.

Is Arlo retired or did he ever work???

Past my prime for party time…never was much for it anyway.

I don’t miss working, so I have EVERY day off! Did 30 years Fed work (20 military, 10 Fed Civ).
