I went to a “Battlebots” contest over 25 years ago. Nothing blew up, but overall it was loud and lots of 2-stroke fumes. The only one I remember was “Little Drummer Boy”.
I really like the show, but I don’t like the Floor Saws. I like the Screws, Opposition-Controlled Hammers, and the Platform that scores you points if you get your opponent’s Bot up onto it, because they are skill-based, not just random things that have nothing to do with how well your Team is controlling the Bot and the Environment.
