40-50 years ago the UK canal system was notorious. It was said that you die from blood poisoning before you drowned…

A friend of mine use to say even a dog learns after three times. Still you keep falling in knowing there’s a canal there.

Any canal with Andy floating in it would be bound to be somewhat eerie……….

Andy wouldn’t have wanted to fall in any of the canals where I lived in Florida. There were lots of ’gators and cottonmouths in the canals around where I lived.

Do British police duty/patrol uniforms still look like that?

On our side of the pond the police look more like troops in a forward area.
