There are phone apps to tell you where the cheapest gas in town can be found. They also let you know where you’ll need to wait half an hour in line before you can fill your tank.
Unfortunately, no president can control gas prices, unless of course you want to do away with capitalism. https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2022-07-30/biden-doesn-t-control-gas-prices-just-as-trump-didn-t-move-stocks#xj4y7vzkg
Stopped at a station today, the sign said 3.79 but the pump read 3.89. I asked inside which was the right price and was told it went up two minutes ago and they hadn’t changed the sign yet.
My city is putting in more bike lanes to encourage a healthier lifestyle for people to switch or alternate to e-bikes. It’s helping me at least. Yet there is the inevitable FB community post complaining, claiming that only addicts and police ride bikes with a plethora of insults and irrational claims over the inconveniences of the roadwork. Also creating work and circulating funds into the economy. Next post I see I plan to remind them that it wasn’t too long ago people yelled at motorists “Get a horse!” There are also allot of people who use them in their motorized scooters, some of whom I have to pull over and let pass because they go north in a southbound lane. The way I see it, that could be me one day.
