Not sure about that Frazz, Caulfield is right, the hopeless drivers in the USA are very dangerous to bicyclists!

Sport climbing is safer than bicycling in traffic. Heck, free-soloing is safer than cycling in traffic.

Frazz has a point. Way too many people talking incessantly on cells spoil lots of scenes for those who prefer to just appreciate them or take photos with actual cameras.

Another situation is where I used to take a photo, [a serious amateur since the 50’s], use darkroom or software to tweak it, and send it to relatives or friends. I recently found that most of them were being viewed on 3×5 cell phone screens, I now use a digital camera and take the photos, and I still tweak them. I just stopped bothering to send.

When younger, I like to walk up mountains. Not climb them.

I do climb mountains here in WA State (okay, I hike…same difference) and he’s right – way too many doofuses on way too many cell phones.

If one runs on the Mississippi Bottoms, the only living things seen are soybeans.

Just remember the immortal words of Jack Kerouac: You can’t fall off a mountain!
