You were doing the British accent, Mr. Mclellan, whilst fighting the octopus? I say, guvna, that was pretty bold of you.

I’m watching a reality show out of British Columbia where they had the same horror as CA is experiencing now with the flooding. I’m watching the news where tornadoes are touching down everywhere. I’ll take boring thank you!!

Darn,, I was looking forward to finding out why they were wrestling & what they were talking about.

What is the building they are walking out of? Mom on the way? People seen through the window. Party on the pier?

Looks like it’s snowing stars!

Was its name Elon? Elon… Mollusk?

Seagull’s expression in panel 2 cracks me up.

Who else pictures an octopus wearing a derby hat with a rolled-up umbrella held in the suckers of one of its legs?

Will Henry, I’m reading through all the old strips while also keeping up with the new ones, and I can’t help but notice that your artwork has really improved. It was quite good when you started Wallace the Brave but now it’s amazing.

I’m not talking about spaceships fighting giant octopi, but the way you lay out each daily strip. The people leaving the restaurant in panel 1 nicely fits a lot into a small space. And the sequence of Mr. McClellan taking his hat off on Saturday was very realistic. So if you think no one’s noticing, we are.

And that’s on top of action and dialogue that make Wallace the brave one of the absolute best comics being published.

Boring days are also a blessing for cops and firemen.

Spud’s days are usually not boring. Lucky guy….

Looks to me like some of us need to be educated…… contrary to popular belief, the plural of “octopus” is “octopuses”! It’s not Latin!

For a moment seagull was really impressed.

So are Mom and Dad going to adopt the Seagull. I mean really. He’s in every panel so I assume he’s already sleeping with them, right Will?

Now I want to see a British-sounding, monocle-wearing, cravat-donned octopus.

This is why I make up stories when I have mishaps. How boring to say “I tripped” when you can say “I ended up wrestling a talking octopus with a British accent.”
