Congressman-elect George Santos admitted to stealing a man’s checkbook to buy clothing and shoes in 2008, according to Brazilian prosecutors. CNN obtained 150 pages worth of case documents, including a statement Santos gave to police two years later, that showed he used stolen checks and a fake ID with the checkbook owner’s name and his own photo to make purchases at a shop outside Rio de Janeiro, and he was called to speak to investigators several times the next two years.

You may not have heard of Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a recently elected Republican congresswoman from Florida, but within MAGA circles, she’s known for her alleged interest in the practice of witchcraft and even an accusation of having a tryst with Rep. Matt Gaetz.

The allegations were leveled at Luna by Matt Tito, a friend of Roger Stone’s and failed candidate who ran for the 68th District in Florida in 2020 but lost to Democratic incumbent Ben Diamond.

She went so far as to claim that the election against her was rigged “in broad daylight,” without any actual evidence of this having happened, and called for removing key local officials who oversaw the election in Phoenix, including Republicans.
