Is that a thing?

Introverts are a minority in the population, so this wild fear of “cold answering” a phone call makes no sense with how far it’s spreading.

I always text my daughter first if I want to call her. If I just called with no warning she would think some one had died.

Isn’t CALLER ID a warning?

In 2023, why would someone make a phone call to someone else? Are they some kind of lunatic?

i’m happy when folks send me a warning text – it lets me know to shut my phone off…

I don’t answer unfamiliar numbers. If they’re really serious, let them record a message and if I agree that it’s serious I’ll respond.

The call must be from summer camp or fifth grade.

I’m more likely to need a phone call to let me know to look to see if I received a text.
