I can read French better than hearing it or speaking it and I might be able to figure out the basic meaning of a spelled sentence if it’s really simple with some relative English looking words.
I can count to 10 in French and Japanese and also know how they are spelled.
Japanese in the English alphabet that is.
Symbol languages are such that you can speak it but never be able to read it or vice versa.
And I do know just the absolute French basic words.
When I saw all the words for tourists in the back of a visit France book I thought I would consider myself fluent if I could speak and remember all of those.
For goblins however I would think they would prefer symbols of some sort.
I’m impressed that Dakota learned goblin just by being around them enough.
Book on tape. Tapes were devices that were used to store recorded audio and/ or visual information before DVDs. DVDs were discs that were used to store recorded audio and/ or visual etc, you know where this is going.

I thought about giving you a story about family issues. But instead, I’m giving you a steamy goblin romance novel.

What’s Plan B on such a short notice? Also, writing and speaking can be very different in any language.

They can have Marigold translate it for them. Although she may get booed if there’s not enough unicorns in it.
