This highlights the very reason we do not live in an HOA controlled neighborhood. I can accept city codes governing a residential home or area, but I will not tolerate anyone telling me what I can and cannot do on my own property.
Speaking of Home Owners Associations: a few years back I read one article that slowly they are being disbanded. According to their constitutions they have to have a general meeting of all residents, and vote for that to happen and according to the bylaw of that subdivision all is finished if there is a simple majority, but some have a two-thirds majority required. The sticking points usually are the common elements such a pool or a play park, in those cases the pool is sometimes filled in, or as with the park, they are given up to the city or town. The money is the account always has to be used up in every year, so that isn’t a trouble in the end.

Best to leave Nazis out of this. Still many people still traumatised by his hatred of everyone but Nazis, especially Jews.

Personally I feel a HOA degrades the value of a home.

Reason #98763 why HOA’s suck and why I’d sooner live out of my car than live in one.

I’m wondering. Is Steinbauer the rule or the exception when it comes to HOA executives?

Steinbauer fined another neighbor because their garden gnome was too overweight.
