Before the advent of TV, it was the radio.

Seeing TV, YouTube videos, playing videogames, texting, comics, so many things involve a screen! Although not necessarily the last one.

From IdiotBox to DumbSlate – yup, we are moving forward.

Probably watching himself on Youtube.

And then sooner or later, Garfield will claim that there’s nothing good on the phone!

I tend to have nothing exciting on TV and play on the iPad.

Funny . . . not funny. Before the advent of "smart"phones, parents would rail against us kids wasting time in front of the TV. But I don’t hear today’s parents doing the same admonishment about smartphones. Usually because those same parents are just as stuck in their devices as their kids.

I read books and newspapers on my phone. Just sayin’.

With the overload of commercials that are repeated ad nauseum, I am guilty of this too! In fact the only time I don’t need my iPhone is when I’m watching a recording of a show – then the remote is in hand.

My phone is a much lesser substitute for when I’m not home with my computer.
