It’s the little things that make life exciting.

A few weeks after our city went into COVID lockdown in 2020, I noticed that the garbage truck was coming down our street in the opposite direction. The new pattern of household trash generation apparently caused them to have to reorient their routes. That was when I realized how much the world had changed. :-)

Where’s the payoff? Oh, never mind.

So what, Jeff? Walt Wallet got to ride on the back of the truck.

Getting a beep is a good thing!

It’s the little things in life that give us the most pleasure….

A childhood joy that continues to thrill. Maybe its the big noisy machinery thing.

Women get honked at and beeped and all kinds of annoying things during their lives. To me, that explains the look she is giving him, but I didn’t write the comic and haven’t even read it for a long time. I am not sure if these are characters that are new to me or just a Sunday one-off?

I only read this to see how stupid it can get .

You see, this is funny because normally the garbage workers will flip you off or shout obscenities at you if you wave to them.

Garbageman: Hey, good looking! We’ll be back to pick you up later!

The trash collectors in my area have lifts on their trucks that dump the trash for them.
