Missed commenting yesterday but VALENTINE’S ARC. I’d say poor spud but at this point it’s harassment and he knows it.

Will Seagull give and receive valentines? Will he have his own little box for little valentines?

There is something that happened to Amelia thar makes her cold hearted. No love from her Parents?

Walloping a few student for a kind gesture, Amelia, is going to get you sent to the principal’s office.

And Spud wore his Valentine’s sweater and everything …

In the first panel, I thought the kid was wearing white Arab headgear and then realized it was a girl and her hairdo! As for Amelia, she will wind up with a guy who mistreats her.

Well, I tried entering the scavenger hunt and I hope I did, but when I hit SUBMIT I got a page that said thank you for preordering something I never heard of. I didn’t preorder it and don’t know if I’m entered in the giveaway. Oh the uncertainty!

Talking about Spud’s crush on Amelia as harassment is mischaracterizing the situation and bringing on a degree of unwarranted seriousness on a comic about kids. It’s not like there’s unwanted or inappropriate touching, for Pete’s sake. Even some teachers and parents go way overboard, like in the case of the 5-year-old kid who got punished for giving a hug to a girl from his class. Where will this social regulation end?

“CRUNCH”? This can’t be good.

A little early for St Valentine’s Day but in keeping with the Spirit, that was a very affectionate gesture by Amelia towards her later in life Husband Spud, whether he thinks so now or not…..

I bet Spud gave her one of those cards with a train on it that says “I choo-choo-choose you.” I’m blending universes here.

That may also be the sound Spud’s heart is making right about now.

You know, CPS might want to do a home check on Amelia.

Not smacked yet, there’s hope

Had that happen to me by a girl I thought was wonderful. Still have feelings for her, but the embers have died down considerably since the 70s. Her birthday is Feb 3. She doesn’t care that I know.
