Why would he ask for clarification? Men don’t ask for directions and isn’t clarification the same thing? Besides he assumed it was for home only so it’s not his fault. You should’ve explained better.
So SHE decided that everyone should eat vegan. She didn’t talk to her family and didn’t ask if they were on board. Now she’s mad because they didn’t ask questions?!
…And if you had thought to ask him whether or not he wanted to get up there on your high horse with you instead of ordering him to participate in your nonsense you might have known that he was not on board with it.
One thing I learned as a manager is the difference between “talking to someone” as opposed to “talking with someone”. I read a great book “Please Understand Me” which emphasizes the difference between what is said and what is heard. It is based on Meyer-Briggs theory. The more different two people are, the more important it is to work on communicating.
Anytime Betty gets this angry, it’s a keeper. This is going up on the fridge. Can we get one soon where she’s embarrassed or humiliated? Good job guys! Funny one today!
I mean, okay not ideal. But Betty, take the W. He had 3 out of 4 super-healthy meals a day. He ate the vegan snack/lunches, so nothing went to waste. No one went hungry, and everyone was a bit healthier/more energetic than they were the month before.

A non performative vegan would agree that being vegan some of the time is better than being vegan none of the time.

He wasn’t unclear, though, he was mistaken. Nobody asks for clarification of things they think they already understand.

Betty should be happy that Bub was so agreeable about the month of vegan dinners.

This’ll teach Betty not to force her desires / wants / ideas on others. Lol. Yeah, right!
