Shalan Epard Imagine if he would’ve pranked NASA by taking a laxative.

One time there was a girl who paid a visit to our house, and she was trying to sell us an aerial shot of our house for $70.

May the Lord be with you as He is with me.

If I was Shepard, I would’ve added grits and hash browns to go with them eggs and steak; wash them down with a tall glass of orange juice.

Mount Everest is the tallest mountain above sea level. The Earth bulges outward as you get closer to the equator, that is why the peak of Chimborazo is farther from the center of the Earth than Everest.

Forget kites, now they use balloons to spy on you. And the government doesn’t care! Believe it or Not!!!

We just blasted off to joke Planet Uranus again. I suppose Uranus bulges at the equator too.

We can definitely say that the first several US astronauts in space didn’t wind up doing a Moon shot!

Thankfully, I never became an astronaut. I’d have refused the steak and eggs outright, and opted for a bowl of Cheerios.

I remember, back in the late 60s, there was a model rocket that had a camera onboard. At the end of the flight, when the parachute engaged and the camera faced Earth, the camera would take a photo. It was on my “wish list” of rockets to buy. The company’s name was “Estes”.

Technically Mauna Kea. Mauna Kea volcano on Hawaii. Much of its base is on the ocean floor, nearly 6,000m below the surface. Its peak is the highest point in the state of Hawaii, giving an overall height of 10,000m. By that measurement, Mauna Kea is significantly higher than Mount Everest’s 8,800m.

Somebody should have told Alan that it’s okay to poop in space. That’s where comets come from. ~ Carl Sagan, I know these things.

Take care, may forgotten Ecuadorian mountain climber Alfonso “I Ran Out Of String” Anoxiord be with you, and gesundheit.

Oh, great – now we’ll have to be on the lookout for Chinese “weather” kites.

Interesting that Calvin and Hobbes are generally about the same thing. Pooping in the suit.

Steak and eggs was also traditionally serve to Navy personnel before a perceived battle during WWII, wonder if it was for the same reason?

I used to read this strip for the strange factual content. I grew real fond of the jokes that readers would supply each day. In fact I could hardly wait each day to read the strip and added jokes. Now the gloom and doom police have spoiled it. The people who complain about about the jokes act like someone forces them to read the jokes.I don’t care for some of the silly stuff some people post each day. I think some of them crave attention just [post this crap each to get their name out there. I don’tsay ban them, I don’t have to read them. If some people find them funny, that is fine. Just give me the same consideration for the jokes.Sadly the content of this strip has been in decline for some time. With the jokes gone ant the strip going to pot, I have lost interest.
