Tomorrow: watch Red eat his breakfast without using his hands.

This reprint from 2017 reminds me of a recent Tom and Jerry cartoon from 2019 in which Spike the bulldog rescued Tuffy from Tom. That night, Jerry and Tuffy saw a shooting star and Tuffy said, “I wish that one day I’ll be as strong as Spike.” The following day, it turned out that Tuffy had gained Spike’s strength which meant that Spike had lost his. For that day, it was Tuffy who was protecting Spike from Tom. The following day, they found that Spike’s strength had come back to him from Tuffy.

Not good! Not a good sign when dogs don’t want to eat!
