She always seem to make a big production out of everything.

She’s such a drama queen.

It’s hard to tell with a “drama queen”.

I’m sizing this up as a win-win scenario. If she’s breaking up with him, it’s just as well — do you really want to be with someone who doesn’t have the brains to understand that it’s only an expression?

If she isn’t breaking it off, then I guess it’s her way of inviting him to indulge in a little cosplay. Might be fun.
