I’ve been reading this comic for a long time but i just noticed that mother Gargle’s hair looks like a witch’s hat.

Geez Brutus, buy her a new broom and maybe she’ll fly someplace else.

It would be easier for you to accept her for the witch that she is, and something that rhymes with witch.

What is odd is that someday mama will be gone and Brutus will be sad. He will miss the old battleax. No idea why, but he will.

I’d be willing to bet Mother G. has never heard Will Rogers’s famous quote: “Never miss a good chance to shut up.” I don’t think it would be a good idea for Brutus to mention it to her, lest Gladys might have him sleeping with Kewpie.
