A tribute to the “Farewell My Lovely” from the author that brought us that timeless classic “The Big Sleep”. A great audiobook to listen to when on a long journey on a good road… ;)

Thanks to a certain leather-bedecked, aviator-wearing Youtuber and his love of noir, I am familiar with this Chandler quote. I recognized the quote and the author in the first panel. Funny, I didn’t take Harley as a noircissit (Lol!)

Those old Burma-Shave ditties were great.

I always have a moment of sadness when I’ve finished a really good book. I always hope another good one will come along, and one usually does.
