Home sweet mortgage!

The joys of home ownership are greatly exaggerated.

They are closing the lid on your tomb of debt!

We’ve had our mortgage paid off for 10 years. TEN SWEET YEARS!

If you think about the costs of a house it can drive you crazy. I’ve found it was best not to think about it. For me, it all turned out well.

We sold one house and bought another for approximately the same price. No mortgage for 24 years!

I’m okay in my little apartment. I can afford it and I can keep myself and the cats fed.

The two plumbers currently changing out my hot water heater don’t think it’s exaggerated.

The last time I signed that many papers I found myself in the Navy for 6 years.

We’ve been home moaners for 36 years as of last month. That’s the way I pronounce it. Still, having a fully paid-for domicile does insulate us from a lot of the pains that renters go through.

Just took out an equity loan on my house, yes it will extend the payment but it will still be worth almost double what I owe. We haven’t done any serious upgrades in 20 years.
