    If you think about the costs of a house it can drive you crazy. I’ve found it was best not to think about it. For me, it all turned out well.

    We’ve been home moaners for 36 years as of last month. That’s the way I pronounce it. Still, having a fully paid-for domicile does insulate us from a lot of the pains that renters go through.

    Just took out an equity loan on my house, yes it will extend the payment but it will still be worth almost double what I owe. We haven’t done any serious upgrades in 20 years.
