This one scares me. I once helped my Grandmother into our van with a one arm hug and broke two of her ribs, which she kept from me for weeks.

Aw, Janis. You know how Arlo likes to put the squeeze on you.

Having back problems, a good bear hug does a person good. My hubby gives great bear hugs.

I don’t like it when women play with the „frail woman“ cliché. But I equally dislike the caveman or „man monster“ cliché.

Janis knows bears will leave you alone if you play dead.

Janis is safe. She her chest protectors on.

Be gentle with that fragile flower.

Janis is so smart……….

Maybe, assuming you really want to get away from a bear hug…..

This reminds me of the old advice about bear attacks: If it’s brown, lie down. If it’s black, fight back. If it’s white, good night.

JJ needs one for Arlo, maybe something like “If it’s Arlo, go low.” Nah, that’s pretty lame.

Someone needs to remind Arlo…“Open the hands! You don’t need to hug with fists!”

If she reviles his touch, why did she marry him? Or stay married to him?

The Mrs did that to me last night. She’s about 6 inches shorter than I am, but she has powerful arms. And she had the advantage of it being a sneak attack from behind.
