First time I’ve seen Monty in different clothes, it’s a nice change.

Just because you’re a red neck doesn’t mean you’re ultra right wing, just saying

I think he’d be better off without the right wing trolls.

Camo clothes are fine. They help to hide the fact that I’m a sloppy eater.

The pattern I like best is ‘’Spring Woodland/Poached Egg’’.

And boy, they sure have a lot of pockets, one for my hanky, my boy scout knife, lucky rabbits foot, half a boloney sandwich, a piece of string and a roller skate key.

Both sides play ban the books. The really good stuff is on both lists.

Monty is a ‘toon that rarely forays into culture wars or politics. Today I see that’s wise on Meddick’s part, and he should stick to it.

When you really want to find the fearful small minded people just look for the folks banning books.

Stop the politics. Enough divisiveness in the “real” world…

This is probably a reference to Pepe the Frog, which was appropriated by the alt-right much to its creator’s (Matt Furie’s) dismay, as he does not share those views.

I’m reading the book Meme Wars, which explains how certain phrases (like “all lives matter”, “America first”, and “It’s OK to be white”) that seem perfectly reasonable on a literal reading have deeper, darker meanings to those “in the know” deeper down the rabbit hole, where they serve as either dog whistles or tribal identifiers. These came as real eye-openers to me, since I don’t frequent the websites where such memes get birthed and nourished.

If you look at facts, it is leftwing liberals who ban anything, book, speech etc. that disagrees with their agenda.
