I think Jeremy was kind of hoping that more of it would be left to him…

Maybe thirty years ago, although the women that would have been interested in him would have had just as wimpy husbands.

Yeah, but the person named as the main beneficiary in that will is dead. I think that would be a sticking point.

Some Doonesbury characters never made sense to me. Jeremy is one of them. Honey is another.

I expect the Will could be contested… But not by Jeremy. He’s not a relative, and if the Will is declared void, then so would his entry in it. I would expect all of it would go to the next-of-kin…

Except that she left it to her dead sister. Dead people can’t inherit. The fact that she confused a homeless person with her dead sister only points to mental incompetency.

Boy, Jeremy is really deep into his fantasy world, isn’t he? No, it’s not a date, and no, Joanie’s husband isn’t coming through the door.

Let’s hope poor Lacey get’s someone besides Pearl to tend to her needs. I know what it’s like to be at the mercy of a “Jeremy.” Did the strip mention she is hoping for a merciful death (to escape his annoying attentions).
