I’m basically lazy, so I tend to simplify my jobs and still get all the work done properly and quickly. When they let me go from my last job, they needed three people to do the work I did.

The plant I worked at went from 1100 people to 497 in a day. We all got to pick up another job or two. Then they wondered why things started backing up. But it meant job security!

How do you make sure the project gets done on time and correctly? Give it to the busiest person in the group.

Motorola managers used to say, “Make it happen.” Barf! Worst place I ever worked.

Do I still get free espresso and pastries?
