Overparenting again. You’ll wind up with kids all like Petey.

As a little kid, I hammered nails into small two by fours and boards to make a wooden fleet of ships in my basement. Nobody got hurt.

Guess you’ll have to settle for a welding torch, Beni.

Sad duck, such a sad duck

If I had a hammer

I’d hammer in the morning

I’d hammer in the evening

All over this land

I’d hammer out danger

I’d hammer out a warning

I’d hammer out love between my brothers and my sisters

That would be like trying to fix a stretched out slinky.

The age old conundrum. How do you re-spring an unsprung spring? But alas, such life lessons will go unanswered with the wee ones who are hammerless.

Beni would be dangerous; but he and Alice at their age are totally oblivious to what Beni’s Mom meant.
