Way back when I was in high school there was tradition for the graduating seniors to hand something to the person handing you your diploma. Each student in my graduating class handed him a jack and the last person gave him the ball.
Many years ago, we were watching after our youngest granddaughter. She was probably 4 or 5 at the time. When we were getting her ready for bed we noticed a lot of strange bruises on her back. Circles, three pointed stars, lines and squares. We asked her about them and she told us that she had fallen out of the bed onto a pile of Legos. Ouch.
