Remembering Jack on the anniversary of his passing.

Was Jack’s colorist always (or almost always) using Carolina blue and black for opposing team uniform colors even way back then?

A nice tribute on the 27th anniversary of Jack’s passing. Hopefully the editorial team will allow for another dedicated panel to Jack on his September 22nd centennial birthday.

Is Mr. Berrill dead? Because he’d be rolling in his grave to see where this strip has gone.

On Pi Day, somewhere in the Sonoran desert Mimi, Erika and Amelia are talking wedges and sharing slices of their delicious pies with each other.

And the Milford (Michigan) playoff run ends with a 59-41 thrashing by Rochester Adams in the Regional Semifinals. Unfortunately the coaches didn’t buy the players new shoes, and it showed.

Henry, Nice tribute. You made my job a lot easier because today’s post will be short(ha).Seriously, I grew up on Gil Thorp and it has been an integral part of my life. My mom and I were always talking about the haps on the strip and I’d see a lot of people in many different places talk about what was going on in Milford that day. Jack Berrill must have done something right. Well done today, Big Guy. You da Man.
