I once had a professor who accused another student of plagiarism for one sentence. The man said the student couldn’t possible have written that sentence. It must have been too good. The professor spent hours in the library looking for the source of that sentence. He couldn’t find it but he never backed down from his accusation either.

How are people to differentiate AI-written stories/reports/articles from those written by people?

If others in his class use AI to write their papers and give the same parameters, wouldn’t those papers be pretty identical?

We used to have closed book tests. Now. It’s no wi-fi or cellular tests.

I’ve been playing with the Chat-GPT version. That thing is rather good if you formulate your parameters well.
