They should follow up with a picture of the food AFTER they have eaten it. And, knowing today’s young people are so messed up, I am surprised they haven’t! or have they?
I’m gonna come clean here, I’ve taken pictures of two food items. One was a chicken and waffle breakfast in Vegas. Have yet to see one better anywhere. The other was one of those elaborate Bloody Mary drinks that was LOADED! Again, it was in Vegas. I’ve see a picture someone posted of a $50 Bloody Mary that was topped with a whole roasted chicken. Anyone else?
Normally I wouldn’t but we stopped at this roadside somewhere around Connecticut. The folks here were from eastern Europe, I’m guessing from heavy accents. The plates were so full that the mashed and vegies came on separate plates. That we had to have a picture of
Honestly, I would consider this a “red flag” if I got food pictures from someone I was considering dating. Also, people who use the word “yummy” as their only superlative. “Meet me at the ‘all you can eat’ buffet” would be another.
When we would go to my sister-in-law;s house (husband’s sister) for a holiday meal she always has taken photos of the table and all the food. She is a tail end baby boomer.

Sometimes I want to take a photo of a nice meal I’ve cooked….but to be honest by the time I think of it I’ve already eaten most of it!
