Called her “Mom” which further confuses the whole relationship/timeline sitch. I haven’t chugged back through the strips, but I don’t recall anything about RJ being anomalously tough.

This is a cute moment, and yes, Cobra, you are his mother.

And so now he get his own spinoff comic strip eh.

Look at Cobra getting all squishy and sentimental.

Not gonna lie. I think I preferred him as plain ol’ RJ, a chip off the Rip block, and not some manufactured DNA experiment

Since when is Cobra, renowned femme fatale, motherly?

The Thompson universe follows its own logic.

A truly heartwarming moment. Also, a rare time where we see Cobra’s softer side.

It’s like someone started slicing onions when I got to that last panel.

Mom, wow, I really misjudged that relationship.

I don’t hear his knuckles giggling!

I can understand him needing to do his own thing, but here’s hoping he says goodbye to the family before he goes.

Oh, and now Starlight needs new lawmen. Although, Tank Tucker, Sheriff of Starlight does have a nice ring to it.

As far as continuity goes for this strip, I don’t think Dan has ever hired a script girl. So, this strip goes wherever Dan decides to take it whenever he gets out of a writer’s block.

Ugh. This is Rip Haywire strip. He is the star. Oh well your the writer it’s yours.
