Called her “Mom” which further confuses the whole relationship/timeline sitch. I haven’t chugged back through the strips, but I don’t recall anything about RJ being anomalously tough.
As far as continuity goes for this strip, I don’t think Dan has ever hired a script girl. So, this strip goes wherever Dan decides to take it whenever he gets out of a writer’s block.

I can understand him needing to do his own thing, but here’s hoping he says goodbye to the family before he goes.
Oh, and now Starlight needs new lawmen. Although, Tank Tucker, Sheriff of Starlight does have a nice ring to it.
