Well Petey, you pooh-poohed Alice’s yelling offer, now look where you wound up (pun intended).

Maybe Petey should try hitting the soccer ball with his his head—-a big target.

Try pickleball, and then, as a last resort—-anything that comes to mind—-Peteyball!

In Petey’s case he should be playing “Solitaire.”

I’m with Dill – that’s the way I always played it…(but I hated it when my mother wanted to use it and it wasn’t for playing paddle ball, either!)

Gotta hand it to Petey, at least he is trying; it’s more than I expected. In the end though, we all know the soccer shoes shoebox will get more attention and admiration.

Let’s be clear about this: Petey is not an athlete! He is more the quiet, slow-moving, future-librarian type. But he’s still My Hero….
