Seems like the entire Walden gang was going through a sophomore slump then.

Seven years of sophomore are a big career for a Varsity student.

My own “sophomore slump” lasted a few years, too. The late 70’s were a rough time for slackers. So many diversions!

Speaking of the 70s, 1972 as a sophomore means that Zonker is in HIS 70s now.

My sophomore slump was two years, and I still didn’t get out of it after grad school.

He had a seven year sophomore slump? I wouldn’t think the university would let him have a sophomore year that long, nut again it is Walden.

Zonker is ageless among his many talents. I think he described the sophomore years as among the best of his life.

I can’t remember. How long was his freshman slump? Maybe close to 80.

Strange name for a girl – Cricket. Were her parents into sports, or insects?

There was a line in Animal House, after Dean Wormer had expelled all the members of Delta Tau Chi, where Bluto lamented “Six years of college education down the drain”, and everybody in the theater laffed. Having spent 9 years as an undergraduate myself, I didn’t understand what was supposed to have been funny.

Many years ago the punchline of the comic was someone said to Zonker “It was like ywhen you were a sophmore.” Zonker replied, “Those were three of the best years of my life.”
