Hate that too. We just hang them to dry in the bathroom. When my nephews were young, they sometimes stayed with us. And they dropped the towels on the wet bathroom floor and left them there. I always sent them back to pick them up and hang them out.
My still-at-home son still leaves his towels on the floor, even after many years of “reminders” not to. :P
