Nate doin bottom duty!

The green ship rob us last night. Why don’t you guys go check their ship.

IRS has no jurisdiction on pirates on the high seas!

Tell them to go pound sand Henry!

We were robbed by the Green Ship, and have declared a loss for the year. Why don’t you try them, they should still have our money.

Arrrgh! They’re pirates, make them walk the plank.

I know it has little to do with to do with today’s comic, but I am reminded of ads that used to show up in men’s adventure magazines like Argosy and Saga and True in the early 70’s. A liquor company would hide a case of Canadian Club whisky in weird places and give vague clues as to where it was. One place was on a shipwreck at the bottom of some body of water somewhere. Another hiding place was under the sand in the middle of some desert somewhere. There were probably others that I can’t remember. I have no idea if anyone ever actually found one or not but I thought that was a pretty clever ad campaign.

This is funny in so many ways. Who let the suits onboard?

Is the IRS just a different variety of pirate?
